Salento

Salento is a unique mix of magic terrain, sun and sea, for its rich history, food and wine culture, art and traditions.

One of the specific areas of Puglia is surely Salento, a real sub-region of Italy, which extends along the southern part of Puglia,
between the Ionian Sea to the west and the Adriatic.

On the Adriatic coast we find the famous tourist resorts "Otranto", "Santa Cesarea Terme," "Porto Miggiano," "Castro" and its famous cave delle "Zinzulusa", "Tricase" until you reach the splendid "Santa Maria di Leuca "the pearl of Salento with its fabulous mansions of the nineteenth century. While along the Ionian coast we find the beautiful white beaches of "Pesculuse" the "Maldive", "Lido Marini," "Torre Mozza," "Torre San Giovanni" to arrive at Gallipoli.

Then there Lecce, capital of the province and city of art. Messapian the ancient origins and the archaeological remains of Roman rule mingle with the richness and exuberance of typical baroque seventeenth century.

Salento is a sweet earth and full of energy, sunlight is always the protagonist and the quality of life is among the best, thanks to the splendid vineyards and canteens, olive forests similar to natural sculptures, oasis land and sea and unspoiled nature.
